ABOUT CAMINO COFFEE ROASTERS’S BEANS

We choose to get our coffee from farms that are sustainable, environmentally friendly, and ones that treat their employees with integrity.

Some of our partners include one of the only women-owned coffee farms in the world (located in Costa Rica), a co-op of indigenous families in Columbia that grow wonderful Fair Trade Organic coffee, a labor union in Ethiopia, and a Guatemalan farm that provides onsite healthcare, a classroom for the farmers' children, and clean water to a neighboring village.

HOW WE GOT STARTED

Camino Coffee Roasters began as an idea in 2006 when founder Andy Hay worked as a hiking guide for a non-profit adventure tourism organization based in the Guatemala highlands, a region that produces some of the world's best coffee. Seeing in person how much labor is involved in each cup of coffee we consume inspired a roasting business, and Camino Coffee was born!

WHAT MAKES US UNIQUE

We donate 10% of our profits to NGO’s working to alleviate poverty in coffee-growing regions around the world.
